Home / Safety
Safety is how
we run a job.
Not a binder on a shelf or a page on a website. A culture that shows up in planning, in the field, and in every subcontractor we bring on.
Our commitment
Every person on a J.A. Fielden site goes home the way they came. That commitment drives how we plan the work, how we staff it, and how we hold ourselves and our trade partners accountable.
Safety and quality aren't competing priorities — they're the same discipline. A site that's planned well, sequenced well, and led well is both the safest site and the best-built one. We don't trade one for the other.
Zero-incident mindset
The goal isn't a number we can live with. It's everyone home safe, every day.
Planned, not reacted to
Hazards are engineered out in preconstruction and pre-task planning — before the crew is exposed.
Owned in the field
Our superintendents lead safety on the ground. It's their job, not a poster's.
How we deliver it
Built into the work.
Safety Culture
Leadership-driven and crew-owned. Everyone has the authority to stop work when something isn't right.
Training & Certification
OSHA-aligned training, task-specific certifications, and orientation for every worker on every site.
Pre-Task Planning
Daily huddles and job hazard analysis turn the day's plan into a safe sequence before it starts.
Subcontractor Alignment
Trade partners are pre-qualified to our standard and held to it. Safety travels across the whole team.
